Cut a wooden plate in two pieces, the left is 30 cm width and the lenght is like you want. Join them again with a piano hinge.

4 clamps (bolts and nuts) on 2 beams will hold the aluminium plate while bending.

An aluminium strip mounted on the left plank wil prevent of entering the aluminium in the plank while bending.

1 cm aluminium bended at 90° over 1.50 meter.

This plank is used as a calibre.
